One of the most common things I hear from students applying to graduate school is:

“I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing right now.”

If this sounds familiar, here’s the reminder I want you to hear:

Some students are just beginning to explore programs.
Some are compiling application materials.
Some are submitting applications.
Some are waiting on decisions.
Some are weighing offers.
Some feel overwhelmed and are completely stuck.

All of these are normal.

There is no single “right” timeline for applying to graduate school.

Progress doesn’t come from doing everything at once.
It comes from identifying the next step.
